Die 6 Videos sind der Idee der Sonnenuhr gewidmet, die es in verschiedenen Kulturen gab. Anhand des Schattenwurfs des Gnomons konnte man die Tages- und Jahreszeiten ablesen. Die Videos zeigen die zeitlichen Bewegungen von Licht und Schatten der Kolonnaden vor St. Peter in chronologischer Abfolge. Pro Minute werden ca. drei Sekunden aufgezeichnet und ineinander überblendet. Die visuell wahrnehmbaren Licht- und Schattenbewegungen werden zu einem langsamen Fließen in der technisch gestauchten Zeit. Diese Bewegung wird durch die Musik des Komponisten Ulrich Maiss akustisch unterstützt. Die Videos verweisen auf die Ambivalenz des Lichts, das die Dinge offenbart und zugleich verbrennt. Der Eindruck des energetischen Lichts wird durch Überbelichtung und Farbbeeinflussung hervorgerufen.

The 6 videos are dedicated to the idea of the sundial, which existed in different cultures. On the basis of the shadow of the gnomon one could read the day and year. The videos show the temporal movement of light and shade of the colonnades of St. Peter in chronological order. About three seconds per minute were recorded and then blended into each other. The visually perceptible light and shadow movements become a slow flow in the compressed technical time. This movement is supported by the acoustic music of the composer Ulrich Maiss. The videos refer to the ambivalence of the light that reveals things and burns them at the same time. The impression of the energetic light is caused by over-exposure and color interference.
